The Rotary International, Ibadan-Challenge has honored the popular theatre practitioner and film producer, Lateef Adedimeji, popularly known as ‘Crying Machine’ during her annual investiture program held at the Rotary House, Iyaganku Ibadan.


The Abeokuta-born artist, actor, and filmmaker was honored having recognized his contribution to the development of the film and entertainment industries over the years.

The Ibadan-Challenge trailblazer President of the Rotary Club International, Rotarian Kunle Awotiku describes the artist as one of the greatest that the film industry is blessed with presently and, one that is inspiring numbers of the younger generation to be productive in anything they seem to have passion for.


While addressing the press after receiving the award, the gentle-looking actor urges the youth to work hard, believe in oneself, they should trust their journey, and they will surely get to the level of fulfilling their aspiration. And added to that, he advises well-meaning Nigerians to be of more supports to the Rotary Clubs nationally as they are doing their best to contribute to the society.

Obasanjo replies Tinubu, Fayose over statement on Kashamu's Death Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has responded to criticisms over his condolence message to Late Senator, Buruji Kashamu.
