Ooni of Ife welcomes his first son The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his wife, Olori Silekunola, have welcomed another bundle of joy to their royal family . But details of the time and place of birth are yet to made public knowledge. Olori Silekunola has been out of the public eye since she became pregnant. The 45-year-old monarch had disclosed in July, 2020 that he would name his unborn prince after the 49th Ooni of Ife, Oba Adesoji Tadenikawo Aderemi.  His only other biological child is 20-year-old Princess Adeola Ogunwusi, whom the Ooni had when he was 19. Oba Adeyeye’s first two marriages did not produce any child, hence his son with Olori Silekunola, the third wife, is his first true heir. Recall that he also adopted a 17-year-old boy who drew his portrait with pencil in July.

BBNaija season 5 winner,  Laycon , received his new car today and his bestie,  Vee , threw a friendly shade at him over his inability to drive the car. Recall that Multichoice, the organizers of Big Brother Nigeria, BBNaija, held their official press conference and presentation of grand prize to season 5 winner, Laycon, today September 30, in Lagos. During the prize presentation, Laycon received his 30 million Naira cheque among other other things accrued to the N85m grand prize. Receiving his brand new car, Laycon quickly hopped into the driver’s seat but ended up playing with his new toy by honing the car nonstop. Multichoice, the organizers of Big Brother Nigeria,  BBNaija , have revealed that this year’s edition of the show got 900 million votes, the highest ever. The Managing director of MultiChoice Nigeria, parent production company of the BBNaija franchise,  John Ugbe , disclosed that the Lockdown season recorded the highest votes ever in the history of the show. According to him, the show recorded 900 million votes from the different voting platforms and cost of producing the show was N3.5bn. He disclosed this at the media briefing and presentation of prize money to  Laycon , the season’s winner, today September 30, in Lagos. Mr. Ugbe noted that the 900 million votes were gotten from the different voting platforms and that the cost of producing the show was N3.5bn.
