Have you been yearning and searching for how to link your NIN to your mobile number? here's is the simple way.

Following the directective of the Federal Government of Nigeria to all telephone subscribers to link their phone number with the National Identity Number, NIN, here are easy step to take when you want to link your NIN to your phone numbers. 

If you have registered for the National Identity Number, NIN, dial *346# on your registered phone number with NIN to retrieve your NIN. 

MTN Users

1. Dial *785# using the MTN you wish to perform the linking on.

2. Select 1 which stands for “Enter your 11-digit NIN”

3. Enter your 11-digit NIN and send.

Wait for a notification message of your submission. You may get a message showing “Network error.”

Don’t let it frighten you if you do! Just wait for some time and retry it.

Airtel Users

1. Dial *121*1# on the Airtel line you wish to link.

2. Type 1 stand for “NIN Capture” and send

Enter your 11-digit NIN and send.

Wait for the network to give a confirmation of your submission. If you get an error, just wait for some time and try again.

GLO Users:

This very simple, just send "Update NIN, NIN, FirstName, LastName" to 109
