In 2017, Nigerian popular singer, Banky W Married Nigerian actress, Adesua Etomi. This marriage was hash tagged #BAAD2017, it was the talk of the internet for months. The traditional marriage was held on 19th November 2017 in Lagos, and the white wedding took place on 25th November, 2017 in South Africa. 

Ever since, the couple has been growing stronger and stronger in the love that bound them together. Facing every challenge and struggles of life together. In the same 2017, Banky W had a skin cancer surgery on his shoulder and Adesua was by his side all through.

On their personal lives, Adesua Etomi, was born on 22nd February 1988 in Owerri, Imo State. However, she is from Edo State originally. Adesua is the youngest of three siblings. She had her early education at Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos. She also attended Queen's College, Lagos before traveling out of the country to the United Kingdom where she further her education. She graduated with a first class honour in drama and performance from the University of Wolverhampton after obtaining a diploma in the physical theatre, musical theatre, and performing arts from City College Coventry in 2004.

On the other hand, Banky W who was born in United States by Nigerian parents, moved to Nigerian when he was five years old. He obtained his primary and secondary education in Lagos before he moved back to New York to further his studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. Banky W later returned to Nigeria to establish his record label E.M. E in 2009 where he signed other artists like Wizkid.
