The girl who acted as Lakshmi in the movie LAKSHMI's real name is Ditya Sugar Bhande. Before the movie, she won as the winner of the kids dance reality television show Super Dancer season 1. She made her acting debut in the musical Tamil film Lakshmi. This film was written and directed by the most amazing dancer A. L. Vijay. Ditya acted as a school girl who loves to dance a lot. She also participated in'Dance India Dance season 7 in which she did amazingly great. 
She was birthed 29 November 2006. The gorgeous and talented 13 years old girl hails from India. At the moment, she schools and works as a child dancer and an actress.

In the movie, Lakshmi dreams of winning a national level dance competition but is scared to participate as her mother despises dancing. However, things take a turn when she meets Krishna, a cafe owner. Krishna is her father, he and Lakshmi's mother dated then got separated due to the fact that her father got another husband for her aside Krishna.
